Classified Applicants who will be applying for positions that will require interaction with students (paraprofessional) must have earned an Associates Degree or have passed the NCLB testing criteria in order to be eligible for employment.

If you are applying for a position as a substitute teacher or teacher's aide your application must be accompanied by a money order for $42.00 made payable to Lame Deer Public Schools for a fingerprint background check that will be done on a State and National level. 

If you are applying for cafeteria, custodian, bus monitor, or maintenance position your application must be accompanied with a $10.00 money order made payable to Lame Deer Public Schools for a State background check.

If you are applying for a transportation (bus driver) position, your application must be accompanied with a $10.00 money order made payable to the Lame Deer Public Schools for a State background check and a copy of the following:

• Current CDL
• Valid Standard First Aid Certificate from an authorized instructor (you must maintain the First Aid Certification throughout your employment with LDPS)
• Yearly physical records
